The Virginia Symphony Orchestra is proud to share the stage with Adrienne Warren–Hampton Roads native and Tony award-winner for her starring role in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. Adrienne Warren is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia and a Governor’s School for the Arts alum. She made her Broadway debut in Bring it On: The Musical in 2012, followed by her Tony-nominated appearance in Shuffle Along in 2016, and award-winning performance in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical  in 2020. She can be seen in the films The Woman King and Rustin, and television series appearances include Women of the Movement, Black Cake, and more.
