Where will Norfolk concerts be held while Chrysler Hall is being renovated?
During the Chrysler Hall renovation, the VSO will continue to present Norfolk concerts at a variety of venues. We will have six performances at Harrison Opera House, three at the Attucks Theatre, and three NSU’s Wilder Center.
A note on the box seats at our Norfolk venues…
The box seats at Harrison Opera House and the Attucks Theatre offer a different experience than you might be familiar with in box seats at our other venues. Due to the way we utilize the stage, the view from the box seats is partially obstructed. Please take this into account when stating your seating preferences at these venues.
Why can’t I select my own seat online?
We want every subscriber to have a chance to retain their same seats if they renew before the deadline. Therefore, our Box Office staff processes all subscriber seating. After the renewal deadline, they will work through seat change requests in the order they are received.
I have a credit on my account. Can I use it towards my subscription?
Unfortunately, credits cannot be used towards subscription renewals. Credits may only be used for tickets to concerts within the same season.
I want to change where I sit. How can I do that?
Seat change requests are considered after the renewal deadline in the order they are received. We are unfortunately not able to guarantee any seat change requests until all subscribers have had an opportunity to renew. You must renew by May 22 to receive priority for seat assignments. Any seats remaining after the deadline will be available for new subscriptions or may be used for other subscribers’ seat change requests.
Can I set up a payment plan?
Yes! Payment plans via credit card are available. Note they will automatically be 3 installments, and you must be paid in full by August 1, 2026. Payment plans must be setup over the phone with the box office staff or by filling out the enclosed order form and mailing it to the VSO office. Payment plans cannot be initiated online. Payments are processed on May 1, June 1, July 1, and August 3.
Can I exchange my tickets for other concerts?
Once you have received your subscription tickets, which will be mailed to you in late July, you are welcome to exchange tickets for another concert in the 26/27 season. Please note that we are unable to process exchanges before this time. Exchanges are provided FREE of charge, unless you are exchanging into a higher-priced event or section.
Can I add additional tickets with my subscription?
At this time, we are only processing subscription sales for 26/27 concerts. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets to individual concerts when you receive your subscription tickets in July
