Join the musicians of the VSO, Eric Jacobsen, and Grammy-winning mandolinist Chris Thile (of folk/bluegrass ensembles Nickel Creek and the Punch Brothers) for an intimate evening of wine, food, and musical storytelling. Chris and a certified sommelier from Norfolk wine jewel Vinoculture will banter, discuss, and guide guests through a tasting of Chris’ personal selections, with musical interludes and personal stories to highlight each wine. Enjoy a bountiful selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and dessert throughout the evening.
Ticket includes a welcome sparkling wine, passed and placed heavy hors d’oeuvres, a tasting of four wines selected by Chris Thile, one full wine pour, and an exclusive performance by Chris Thile and the musicians of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra with VSO Music Director, Eric Jacobsen. Ticket purchases support the VSO’s outstanding music and education programs.
