COMMUNICATIONS AND
DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER
The Communications and Digital Media Manager reports to the Vice President of Marketing and works collaboratively with all Virginia Symphony Orchestra (VSO) departments. The employee is responsible for all social media, digital marketing, and public relations activities of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, with the goal of strategically advancing the VSO’s public image through multiple outlets and supporting ticket sales and fundraising efforts. Key areas of responsibility include implementation of comprehensive, integrated social media and public relations plans as well as fostering day-to-day relationships with the media, departmental and institutional writing, and assisting in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Department.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
The Virginia Symphony Orchestra seeks an experienced, results-oriented Director of Finance with a passion for the community and the arts. The Director reports to and serves as a trusted advisor to the President & CEO, is a member of the Senior Team, and helps to provide sound financial guidance and reporting to the Board and Senior Management. The Director is responsible for creating and streamlining processes and systems to provide accurate, reliable, and timely financial reports used for strategic and operational decision-making.

Education Intern
The Virginia Symphony Orchestra is seeking students who are pursuing a degree in Education or the Performing Arts with a career orientation or personal interest in arts administration and education.
This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in a variety of areas related to music education, performing arts, and arts administration. Candidates must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.

Development Intern
