Director of Marketing and Sales
The Director of Marketing and Sales reports to the President & CEO and works closely in alignment with a comprehensive patron services team. They are responsible for executing successful sales and customer service campaigns that meet the VSO’s earned revenue goals. This team leader will develop a comprehensive plan to drive attendance and revenue goals for all performances and events. They’ll oversee patron development, ticketing operations, group sales, telemarketing efforts and customer service.

The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely in alignment with a comprehensive patron services team. They are responsible for delivering ticketing campaigns (single ticket and subscriptions) that meet our exceed budget targets and demonstrate measurable growth in audience engagement (as measured through NTF metrics, ST & SUB retention metrics, multi-buying rates, subscriber acquisition rates). Patron Services Associate
The Patron Services Associate is a part-time position, supporting the functions of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra Box Office by providing customer service support in subscriptions and single ticket sales in the office as well as at the multiple concert venues in which the orchestra performs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organized, personable and is comfortable working with and analyzing data as well as excellent customer service skills and be able to make decisions quickly based on defined policies and procedures. Knowledge of Tessitura database and appreciation for symphonic music is a plus.
